Minkow To Plead Guilty To Insider Trading

Law360, New York (March 16, 2011, 6:44 PM ET) -- Barry Minkow, who became an investigator of financial fraud after serving seven years in prison for stock fraud, reportedly agreed Wednesday to plead guilty to trading on nonpublic information about Lennar Corp. and could face up to five years in prison.

Minkow’s attorney, Alvin Entin of Entin & Della Fera PA, told the Wall Street Journal that his client entered into an agreement in principle with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida and consented to plead guilty to one count of insider...
