Law360, New York (May 04, 2012, 8:58 PM ET) -- A Kentucky businessman was sentenced to 20 years in prison Friday over an oil and gas investment scheme through his former company Mid-America Energy Inc. and Global Energy Group that allegedly defrauded investors out of more than $34 million, according to Friday news reports.
U.S. District Judge Karen Caldwell handed Gary Milby the sentence days after his alleged co-conspirator, former attorney Bryan Coffman, reportedly received a 25-year prison sentence for his role in the scheme, according to an AP report.
