Insider Trading Suspect In IBM Case Pleads Not Guilty

Law360, New York (March 29, 2013, 9:19 PM ET) -- A former financial analyst accused in an insider trading scheme stemming from IBM’s $1.2 billion purchase of software developer SPSS Inc. denied the charges in New York federal court Friday, more than two years after fleeing the U.S.

Having been extradited from Hong Kong, where he had been imprisoned for three months, Australian citizen Trent Martin, 33, appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Henry B. Pitman, who set bail at $250,000.
