Ex-Enron Accountant, Lawyer Settle SEC Charges

Law360, New York (March 28, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- A former Enron Corp. accountant and a former lawyer have agreed to pay $30,000 each in response to U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission civil fraud charges over a scheme to inflate Enron’s earnings.

On Monday, the SEC announced the settlements with David Leboe, a former Enron accountant in Texas, and Dale Rasmussen, a former in-house attorney in Portland. Neither admitted nor denied the claims.
