Law360, New York (June 24, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has held that Sharp Corp. infringed Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.’s liquid crystal display patent and issued a ban on certain products made by the Japanese electronics manufacturer.
The ITC determined on Wednesday that Sharp’s infringement of the South Korean company’s patent warranted a limited exclusion order prohibiting Sharp from importing certain devices, televisions and professional displays using the infringing LCD technology.
