FCC Pushes Back Vote On AT&T, BellSouth Deal

Law360, New York (October 13, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- In what many are calling an unorthodox move, the Federal Communications Commission has once again delayed its vote on the proposed $67 billion merger of telecommunications companies AT&T Inc. and BellSouth Corp.

FCC Chairman Kevin Martin originally scheduled the vote for Thursday morning, but pushed it to Friday after the commissioners were unable to come to an agreement on the conditions to impose on the deal.
