Law360, New York (November 18, 2009, 2:12 PM ET) -- The federal antitrust waiting period for Xerox Corp.’s proposed acquisition of outsourcing firm Affiliated Computer Services Inc. has expired, moving the $6.4 billion deal one step closer to completion.
Norwalk, Conn.-based Xerox said Tuesday that the Hart-Scott-Rodino review period for its acquisition of ACS had ended, satisfying one of the conditions to the closing of the transaction.
The copier giant said the deal’s finalization was still subject to other customary closing conditions, including foreign regulatory approvals and the go-ahead from ACS and Xerox stockholders.
