Apple Lawsuit Spotlights Jobs' Role

Law360, New York (January 05, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A civil lawsuit against Apple Computer has raised new questions about the company’s stock options practices and Chief Executive Steve Jobs’ possible role in the unfolding backdating scandal.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Dec. 18, consolidated and amended 11 shareholder lawsuits originally brought in July following Apple’s announcement of irregularities in how the company granted options.
