Law360, New York (June 16, 2010, 12:21 PM ET) -- The city of San Francisco has passed a consumer protection measure that will require retailers to disclose information about how much radiation is emitted by the cell phones they hawk.
The city's Board of Supervisors on Tuesday passed the ordinance, introduced in late January by Mayor Gavin Newsom and was reported by U.K. newspaper The Guardian to be the first such local legislation passed in the U.S.
