MedioStream Can't Dodge Inequitable Conduct Claims

Law360, New York (October 28, 2010, 4:06 PM ET) -- The judge overseeing MedioStream Inc.'s lawsuit accusing technology companies including Microsoft Corp., Apple Inc. and Sony Corp. of infringing its patents for digital recording technology will allow the defendants to present an inequitable conduct defense.

Magistrate Judge Charles Everingham of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Wednesday denied MedioStream's motions seeking to dismiss the defendants' inequitable conduct affirmative defenses and counterclaims.
