Law360, New York (January 12, 2011, 8:30 PM ET) -- A federal judge Wednesday transferred an insider trading case against a Californian accused of funneling the sensitive financial information of technology companies to hedge funds from San Francisco to New York.
Magistrate Judge Bernard Zimmerman of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California ordered the transfer of the case against Winifred Jiau at a hearing in San Francisco, Jack Gillund, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of California, told Law360 on Wednesday.
