Law360, New York (April 10, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- The battle Pioneer Corp. waged against Samsung SDI Co. Ltd. in California district court over plasma display panel patents has been moved to Texas, where it joins another patent suit Pioneer brought against its rival.
Judge Charles R. Breyer of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California decided to transfer the case to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas so it can be combined with a similar case filed at the same time over different patents.
