Law360, New York (March 30, 2011, 1:11 PM ET) -- A California woman on Friday sued an AT&T Inc. unit and the company it used to hire virtual call center agents, claiming the companies effectively denied a class of at-home workers minimum wage and overtime pay.
Sandra Perry filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California alleging AT&T Mobility LLC and Arise Virtual Solutions Inc. knowingly misclassified at-home call center workers as independent contractors, denying them appropriate compensation.
