Law360, New York (October 25, 2011, 6:25 PM ET) -- Two former Terra Telecommunications Corp. executives were sentenced Tuesday in Florida federal court to 15 and seven years, respectively, for their roles in a vast bribery and money laundering scheme involving payments to officials of a Haitian state-owned company.
Former Terra President Joel Esquenazi will serve 180 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release and pay $3.09 million in forfeitures, while former Executive Vice President Carlos Rodriguez was sentenced to 84 months, according to the U.S. attorney's office.
