Law360, New York (August 16, 2011, 7:38 PM ET) -- Panasonic Corporation of North America and Sanyo North America Corp. on Monday reached a settlement in Texas with patent-holding company Ogma LLC over claims that they had infringed Ogma's video display technology.
In two separate joint motions to dismiss, Ogma dropped the electronics makers from the suit, which accuses dozens of companies of infringing a widely asserted patent for video display technology used on devices ranging from laptop computers to smartphones. Terms of the settlements were not disclosed.
