Law360, New York (August 16, 2011, 1:24 PM ET) -- Taiwan's HTC Corp. accused rival Apple Inc. in Delaware Monday of infringing three wireless technology patents with popular products ranging from iPhones to Macbooks, further escalating the intellectual property battle between the two electronics makers.
The complaint — at least the fifth pending patent infringement suit between the two companies in federal court — claims that Apple has willfully violated three patents issued between August 2008 and July 2010 that cover a range of wireless and mobile device technology.
