Law360, New York (August 24, 2011, 1:51 PM ET) -- Computer Sciences Corp. said Wednesday that the federal government had agreed in principle to pay $277 million to resolve contract claims pending before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals.
The proposed settlement, which the government and CSC still need to definitively approve, also includes a five-year extension on the contract at issue for an estimated value of $1 billion, with the fifth year an option year, CSC said.
