Law360, New York (August 25, 2011, 5:29 PM ET) -- Technology Properties Ltd. LLC filed lawsuits Wednesday in the U.S. International Trade Commission and Texas federal court accusing 18 companies, including Eastman Kodak Co. and Sony Corp., of violating its patents for flash media card reader technology.
The company says it lodged the two complaints in an effort to protect its CORE Flash Patent Portfolio, which includes patents that cover technology related to products capable of reading multiple flash media card types. The technology is particularly well-suited for digital photo frames, according to the ITC suit....
