Jiau Should Serve Up To 10 Years For Fraud: Feds

Law360, New York (September 12, 2011, 6:34 PM ET) -- Federal prosecutors in New York on Monday said former Primary Global Research LLC consultant Winifred Jiau should spend between eight and 10 years in prison following her conviction for passing inside information about Marvell Technology Group Ltd. to hedge fund managers.

In a sentencing memorandum filed in federal court in Manhattan, prosecutors said “the applicable guidelines range is 97 to 121 months” and that a sentence in that range was “'sufficient, but not greater than necessary.'”
