Law360, New York (September 23, 2011, 8:01 PM ET) -- Google Inc. on Thursday dropped its suit seeking to block the U.S. Department of the Interior from awarding a $60 million cloud computing contract to Microsoft Corp., saying the agency had promised Google a fair competition for the pact.
The DOI agreed to solicit bids for the five-year, sole-source contract to integrate 13 agency email systems “in a manner that will not preclude plaintiffs from fairly competing,” according to Google's motion to dismiss.
