SAP Admits To "Inappropriate Downloads"

Law360, New York (July 03, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- SAP AG has filed its answer to Oracle Corp.'s amended complaint in the trade secret suit between the two companies, admitting that one its subsidiaries inappropriately downloaded material from Oracle's Web site, but insisting that SAP had no access to Oracle's intellectual property through the subsidiary.

The answer was filed Monday on behalf of SAP AG, SAP America Inc. and subsidiary TommorowNow Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
