Nokia Must Cough Up Docs In Motorola-Apple Patent Fight

Law360, New York (May 04, 2012, 12:58 PM ET) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday denied Nokia Inc.'s bid to withhold licensing documents requested by Apple Inc. for use in fending off Motorola Mobility Inc.'s German lawsuits that allege Apple's iPhone and iPad infringe Motorola's wireless communication patents.

 U.S. District Judge James Ware refused Nokia's motion to quash a subpoena issued by Apple seeking confidential information about Nokia's licensing relationship with Motorola, which Apple wants to use in defending itself against Motorola's patent infringement claims.
