Law360, New York (May 24, 2012, 1:01 PM ET) -- Chinese communications technology giant Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. told Europe's competition authority Thursday that InterDigital Inc. has abused its position as owner of key wireless network patents by refusing to license the technology at a fair and reasonable price.
In a European Commission complaint, Huawei contended that it has been rebuffed in its attempts to negotiate a fair price on the InterDigital patents, which are essential to the 3G wireless technology standard, according to a statement released Thursday by Huawei.
