Law360, New York (May 29, 2012, 7:15 PM ET) -- Lighting Science Group Corp. has closed the final round of a series of private placements totaling roughly $140 million in equity funding and commitments led by private equity firm Riverwood Capital, Lighting Science said Tuesday.
The final round of financing includes $88 million in new equity funding and commitments, and $52 million in bridge financing conversions, Lighting Science said. New York middle-market private equity firm Pegasus Capital Advisors LP, the majority owner of light-emitting diode manufacturer Lighting Science, provided $55 million in equity for the fund-raising....
