Law360, New York (June 22, 2012, 12:11 PM ET) -- Australia's highest court agreed Friday to hear Google Inc.'s appeal of a lower court's finding that the search giant misled consumers by allowing companies to post search result advertisements that lured customers by using a rival's name in the headline.
The High Court of Australia granted Google's special leave application in a brief order Friday, agreeing to hear the appeal of a full Federal Court of Australia ruling in April.
