Law360, New York (June 27, 2012, 6:24 PM ET) -- France Telecom SA sued Marvell Semiconductor Inc. on Tuesday, accusing the Silicon Valley company of infringing a data communications patent in producing a component for the BlackBerry smartphone.
France Telecom's lawsuit, filed in New York federal court, accuses Marvell of “willful and wanton” infringement of its patent for “turbo codes,” which the company describes as “novel methods for error correction coding of source digital coding elements.”
