Law360, Los Angeles (July 06, 2012, 6:43 PM ET) -- A California federal judge on Friday refused to dismiss GSI Technology Inc.'s antitrust lawsuit accusing rival Cypress Semiconductor Corp. of conspiring to monopolize the static random access memory device market.
U.S. District Judge Edward J. Davila said GSI has successfully pled facts to assert Cypress violated the Sherman Act and California's antitrust law, the Cartwright Act. Cypress is accused of working with co-conspirators to block GSI and other competitors from developing the product standards needed for success in the SRAM market.
