Law360, New York (July 12, 2012, 6:16 PM ET) -- Toshiba Corp. moved Wednesday to avoid paying damages after a class of direct purchasers of liquid crystal displays won an $87 million price-fixing verdict against the company, arguing that the $443 million the plaintiffs already won from other defendants should offset the jury award.
