Law360, New York (July 13, 2012, 4:39 PM ET) -- A technology investor group led by private equity firm Silver Lake Sumeru has agreed to purchase cloud computing services provider Velocity Technology Solutions for about $225 million, a person close to the deal said Friday.
The deal, in which Silver Lake Sumeru will buy the company from a shareholder group that includes Spire Capital Partners and Tudor Ventures Group, is the private equity firm's fourth major transaction this year.
