Kodak Gets $33.7M Win In Digital Camera IP Licensing Suit

Law360, New York (July 18, 2012, 7:27 PM ET) -- A New York federal judge on Wednesday granted a $33.7 million judgment in favor of Eastman Kodak Co. in its dispute with Asia Optical Co. Inc. over a breached licensing agreement that allows Asia Optical to use Kodak's patented digital camera technology.

U.S. District Judge Denise L. Cote ordered a final judgment in favor of Kodak and against Asia Optical in the amount of $24,147,344 plus prejudgment interest of $9,579,187. Furthermore, the judge dismissed all outstanding claims and counterclaims.
