Google Says Books Project Covered As Fair Use

Law360, New York (July 27, 2012, 5:48 PM ET) -- Google Inc. on Friday asked a New York federal judge to release it from a copyright infringement action brought by a class of authors, arguing that its Google Books project should be considered fair use and not a violation of U.S. copyright law.
