Law360, New York (August 29, 2012, 8:18 PM ET) -- Cornell Dubilier Electronics Inc. will pay $367 million to clean up contaminated groundwater at a Middlesex, N.J., Superfund site it once used to produce electronics parts, according to a consent decree filed in federal court Wednesday.
The agreement resolves claims for remediation costs filed against the company by the New Jersey and federal governments Wednesday under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act.
