Law360, New York (December 21, 2012, 7:21 PM ET) -- Netflix Inc., Time Warner Cable Inc. and others were targeted Thursday with allegations in Delaware federal court that they infringed patents covering digital video distribution technology.
Washington, D.C.-based Trans Video Electronics Ltd., which holds two digital video news distribution patents, hit at least Netflix, Time Warner, Verizon Communications Inc. and Vudu Inc. with separate infringement suits, alleging they all offer on-demand video services that rely on TVE's protected technology.
