Law360, New York (January 18, 2013, 4:33 PM ET) -- The Transportation Security Administration has issued a call for proposals to develop a new security system that would utilize commercial information harvested from third-party data brokers to prescreen air travel passengers for expedited boarding.
In a market research announcement released on Jan. 8, the agency said it would evaluate white paper proposals for technology that would use nongovernmental commercial data for "risk-based screening techniques" for use in a voluntary expedited prescreening system.
