Law360, New York (January 30, 2013, 7:05 PM ET) -- S.B. Israel Telecom Ltd., an affiliate of investment firm Saban Capital Group Inc., has purchased a controlling interest in Partner Communications Co. Ltd. for an undisclosed price, the firm announced Tuesday.
The transaction, in which S.B. Israel Telecom acquired Partner from Scailex Corp. Ltd., includes the assumption of debt owed to Hutchison Whampoa Ltd. subsidiary Advent Investments Pte Ltd., according to a statement released Tuesday.
