EU Drops Mobile Antitrust Probe Of Vodafone, Others

Law360, New York (March 07, 2013, 2:12 PM ET) -- The European Union’s antitrust regulator said Thursday it was closing a preliminary investigation into five of Europe’s largest telecommunications companies, including Telefonica SA and Vodafone Group PLC, over their development of new mobile technology standards that could have excluded other players.
