Law360, New York (January 07, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Motorola Inc. subsidiary Symbol Technologies Inc. and Metrologic Instruments Inc. have agreed to a cross-licensing deal which settles all pending patent litigation between the companies regarding bar-code scanning technology.
The companies filed a stipulation and order on Friday in a Texas federal court to conclude two Symbol patent infringement suits which accused Metrologic of willfully infringing 10 patents for bar-code scanning technology.
