Google Can't Delay Antitrust Suit By UK's Foundem

Law360, New York (July 26, 2013, 3:50 PM ET) -- A British judge on Friday refused to put U.K. search engine Foundem's antitrust damages claims against Google Inc. on hold while the European Commission finishes its own case against the company but granted Foundem only limited discovery against the Internet search giant.

Justice Peter Roth explained in a decision issued Friday why he would not put the entire case on hold while the EC hammers out either a settlement with or infringement decision against Google.
