Federal Circuit Nixes ADC Appeal

Law360, New York (June 16, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit's Monday decision to reject ADC Telecommunications Inc.'s challenge to a district court's final judgment in a patent case left ADC's counsel complaining that the appeals court didn't understand the issues on the table.

The Federal Circuit's decision left a January 2007 jury verdict and judgment from the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota intact. That ruling held that Switchcraft's model TX jacks didn't infringe claims 1 or 16 of U.S. Patent Number 6,045,378.
