Law360, New York (November 07, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The European Commission has scaled back its plan to reform the telecommunications sector with a new plan that would put less power in the hands of a central regulator, responding to pressure from the European Parliament and member states.
The EC, which unveiled its new proposal on Friday, said it expected the EU to pass a telecom reform law by 2010.
