Law360, New York (August 16, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- After years of fighting, Mobility Electronics Inc. and Formosa Electronic Industries Inc. have laid down their swords, putting to end a long-standing patent infringement battle over an array of power adapters.
Mobility announced the settlement on Tuesday but revealed few details of the rivals’ confidential agreement.
The Arizona company did disclose that Formosa will cease distributing specific products in the U.S. and Europe, unless the process is handled exclusively through Mobility.
