Law360, New York (February 21, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Software giant Microsoft Corp. has filed a federal infringement lawsuit against French rival Alcatel-Lucent, accusing the newly merged company of trampling several U.S. patents for communications management software.
The lawsuit alleges Alcatel-Lucent’s unified communications products infringe patents for computer and phone systems that monitor and run calls, messages and video communications. It was filed Feb. 16 in Delaware District Court.
