Law360, New York (November 03, 2010, 12:55 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has launched an investigation into Nintendo Co. Ltd.’s Wii system to determine if the popular gaming console infringes two patents held by Motiva Enterprises LLC.
The ITC on Tuesday voted to institute a review in response to Ohio-based Motiva’s October Section 337 complaint, which asserts that its patents have been violated and seeks an order barring the infringing products — including the Wii console, the Wii remote and the Wii Nunchuck controller — from entering the United States.
