Judge Grants $1M Bail To Ex-Credit Suisse Broker

Law360, New York (May 09, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- After originally being denied bail, a former Credit Suisse Group broker who allegedly leaked confidential information about the $32 billion sale of energy company TXU has been released on $1 million bail by a federal magistrate judge in Manhattan.

Judge James C. Francis IV on Monday overturned the earlier decision, rejecting the government’s claim that Hafiz Muhammed Zubair Naseem, a Pakistani citizen, posed a flight risk.
