Sabine Pass And Long-Term LNG Export Authorization

Law360, New York (May 27, 2011, 5:20 PM ET) -- On May 20, 2011, the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Fossil Energy (OFE) granted long-term authorization to Sabine Pass Liquefaction LLC, a subsidiary of Cheniere Energy Inc. (FE Docket No. 10-111-LNG, Order No. 2961), to export liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Sabine Pass LNG Terminal to nations that are not included in Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).
