Perry Tells FERC To Leave Texas Hydroelectric Project Alone

Law360, New York (February 29, 2012, 6:33 PM ET) -- Texas Gov. Rick Perry urged the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to back off making any changes to a 50-year license it granted to a 24-megawatt hydroelectric project at a reservoir, arguing in a letter made public Tuesday that any future inteference with the project could jeopardize the water supply for 3.5 million people.
