Law360, New York (August 13, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- BP Plc on Friday said that it would protest the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's citations for five safety violations over hazardous conditions at the company's troubled Texas City refinery.
Last month, OSHA cited BP for one willful violation related to hazardous locations and four serious safety violations over process safety management that it had discovered during a January inspection. The fines for the violations totaled $92,000.
