Law360, New York (May 04, 2012, 8:27 PM ET) -- The Federal Circuit ruled Friday that EMC Corp., GoDaddy.com Inc. and other unrelated companies were improperly joined as defendants in a case over data storage patents, a decision that could break up many multidefendant cases pending in the Eastern District of Texas.
