Google's Storage Services Infringe Data Cache IP, Suit Says

Law360, New York (June 05, 2012, 8:23 PM ET) -- Google Inc. was sued in Texas federal court Tuesday by a software company that alleges the search company is infringing a data access patent in offering its Google Docs and Google Drive storage services.

SuperSpeed LLC says in its lawsuit that Google is co-opting a data caching patent the company incorporates into software used to accelerate the performance of computers linked to a shared-disk network.
