Law360, New York (June 15, 2012, 6:40 PM ET) -- Barclays PLC has broken from a group of major banks and settled with five Toronto-based hedge funds in a $100 million lawsuit over the financial institutions' alleged complicity in the scandals that led to the massive Enron collapse.
In a motion filed Friday in federal court in Houston, counsel for both sides said the funds, called Silvercreek, had reached an agreement that settled all their claims against London-based Barclays PLC and Barclays Capital Inc.
The court papers did not cite a dollar figure for the settlement....
